This is the department that cares and develops the spiritual life of leaners because it has Christian union (C.U), Young Christian Students (Y.C.S), Muslim Girls and the Seventh Day Adventist (S.D.A)
It also cares for the learner’s talents and helps them to develop them. It gives learners exposure through culture activities and the different trips organised by different clubs.
Patron Mr. Munene.
NKUENE GIRLS HIGH SCHOOL WILD LIFE CLUB
Our main aim is to spread interest and knowledge about wildlife and the environment among the people around the school and Iment South District in General. In this May, we made them aware of the great economy, culture and aesthetic value of our natural resources for the benefit of the nation and its people.
Hamjambo Wildlife Club Members!
As we come to the end of this academic year, I hope that you are aware of the importance of biodiversity and the need to behave responsible on earth, it is the only planet we have to live in, other worlds- our only home. We destroy our diversity we destroy our home! Its that’s simple!
NB: mankind is the worst enemy of the environment. So we hope that you youngsters are going to be future “green “advocates in whatever you do, even if you become industrialist, the future of technology is green.
In conclusion, I am urging you to be at fore front to educate members of the society on the importance of the environment, you are the agent of change.

Only charity will save the world!
Y.C.S movement in Nkuene Girls High has focused on bettering and strengthening God’s word through the works of charity by the committee members both from inside and outside the school. Gathered all as one to serve and spread the gospel to all students and nurture their catholic faith deeply having a great number of students advocating for the activeness in the movement is such a stepping stone to greatness.
Holly mass is usually cerebrated on every Saturday as from 6 p.m. by the Parish priest. We all gather on Sundays at exactly 2 p.m. to recite Rosary and at 3 p.m. for the Devine Mercy. Catechism is taught in the movement for the purpose of Baptism and receiving of the Holy Communion by the students.
The students willing to learn how to play the piano are usually taught by a qualified pianist on every Sunday. The priest avails himself on frequent Sundays for confessions of the students so as to draw them closer to God.
The many weekends challenges and several rallies held have contributed greatly to the shinning of the movement. We receive and appreciate the support from our able patron, Mr. Miriti and his assistants both morally, spiritually and also academically.
NKUENE GIRLS HIGH SCHOOL YOUNG FARMERS CLUB.
Being an experienced agriculture teacher in the school for many years, we work very closely with the agriculture students in the young Farmers Club. Some of the activities we’ve enable the school to start includes: pig rearing, small dairy farming, Banana enterprise among others. These activities have succeeded because we offer technical advice to our support staff especially the groundsman. Though demonstration, they are able to learn more are various management practices that are done for both livestock and crop production. They have realised that although agricultural land is becoming scarce and yet Kenya has to feed the growing population, we can produce more crops by enhancing/ embracing new technology i.e. by use of new farming techniques.
Other than in school, we also participate in other external activities like:
-
Involvement in Agricultural projects at the club level.
-
Participating in annual Young Farmers Club Rallies.
-
Involvement in workshops and seminars related to Agriculture.
-
Participation in exhibition and competition at A.S.K (Agriculture Society of Kenya) shows.
-
Participating in National tree planting activities.
